Professional writers, authors and members of the literary community are eligible to apply. A working plan with a literary project is required. Please note that if you should require a visa for Finland, you will have to get that yourself.
There is no deadline for applications but they are considered as we receive them and decisions will be made within one month of reception of the application. You can apply either for a one month residency (in Aleksis, one or two persons) or a two week residency (Eino, one person) or both.
Please check the calendar for availability and start and end dates. We currently accept reservations for periods up to the end of 2025.
You can write your application in Finnish, Swedish or English in the Application Form.
